Rediscovered Dreams! Part 3

I was part of a race of beings born with wings and amazing powers that would be described simply as magic. I was with a young human companion when I received a vision sent to me by a giant turtle asking for help. It had been in the act of rescuing rare creatures from the island lab of a mad scientist when it itself had been captured. It sensed me nearby, and was asking me to come and save them.

The island that the lab was on also housed a small town mainly comprising of specialty shops (all of which were giving away free samples of their merchandise). The whole island was surrounded by a high, thick steel dome which would be entered through gates which required a key card to get in. Since I didn't technically belong, I did not have a key card of my own, so I used my powers to bypass the electronic security at the gates. I also hid my wings under an illusion, because I knew I would not be welcome at this town at all and would probably be hunted by the scientist if he knew I was there and what I was. (As a side note, whenever I used my powers, I saw a black box form around my hand. Not sure what this means.)

My companion and I entered the town, explored the shops for a bit before returning to the mission at hand. We wanted to make sure we blended in with the crowd, after all, as we were looking for the lab. Apparently we weren't doing a good enough job, though, because we were being watched on the video feeds. The scientist had a suspicion of what I was, and was determined to capture me to see if it was true.

Rediscovered Dreams! Part 2

I was working in some kind of factory, sorting good whole eggs from bad and broken ones. These weren't chicken eggs, these were huge eggs in which grew human children. (I say human, but I don't think I was human in this dream, or anyone else in it, for that matter.) Other workers like me were carrying infants from one place to another, as if the children had hatched from the eggs themselves only recently.

I looked at the window across the room from me. Because it was pitch black outside the window was more like a mirror. As I looked in the mirror, I was suddenly seized by the desire to escape from this place. Great feathery white wings exploded from my back, and I flew up to the glass ceiling to try to break out. The windows broke by themselves when I reached them, but there were iron bars crossed over everywhere, like a web, with no openings large enough for me to fly through. With no alternative, I just floated back to the ground of my prison.

Rediscovered Dreams! Part 1

So, I found a notebook that held some dreams that I had written some time ago. Thought I'd share them with you guys. :)

In the first part of my dream, I lived with a family in an old wooden inn, like what you would see in Lord of the Rings. I was in my bedroom upstairs one night when I had the thought of seeing if I could duplicate the effects of a werewolf bite with a potion. I immediately started working on it.

The next morning mother called me down for school, but my potion had not gone so well, and I was rather sick. Thankfully I had an antidote, but I still needed the day to recover.

Some time later (possibly a few years later), the inn was full of customers. My mother, sister, and I were attending to them when the captain of the Elvish Guard walked in, accompanied by some of the soldiers under his command. I ran over to greet my old friend, the Captain.

Apparently he and I had been friends for many years because he commented on how he always looked for me every year when he came by the inn during his travels. I was always away at school each time, so we always missed each other.

Then my friend stopped and looked around cautiously. He sensed a werewolf nearby. Suddenly the inn's dog barreled down the stairs, having (probably) drank some of the potion I had been working on for so long. The Captain drew his sword and cut the dog in two, but also healed it immediately, and the dog was suddenly, somehow, cured of its lychanthropy.

Later the Captain and I were talking and he asked me if we were prepared in case another star strike happened. A star strike is basically like a super meteor that is capable of destroying a small city by the sudden release of its magical energy upon impact. My father had been killed by a star strike many years before. I said that not to worry about it.
